PSC Natural Foods – Administration Assistant

For 40 years PSC Natural Foods has been the leading wholesale distributor of natural and organic grocery products on Vancouver Island.

 

Job description:

Working as part of the sales and marketing team, the Administration Assistants main focus will be on the Thrifty Foods business and assisting the Key Account liaison.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Present new products

Item maintenance – product specifications, costing, and maintenance

Monitor and work with buyers for promotional stock

Work with vendors and brokers

Keep accurate and up to date records

Other duties / responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications, Skills, and Personal Attributes:

• Experience working in grocery or packaged goods distribution, retail, or logistics.

• Hands-on team player with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments

• Detail oriented, analytical, and proactive.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlooks, Word, Excel) and working in 3rd party web portals

• Able to manage multiple priorities while setting goals and objectives

 

Job Type: Part Time – 16-20 hours per week – Monday to Friday.
